My New "Old" Mini Classic

Selling CDs

Bryan and Alyssa decided (after 10 years, and getting married) that its
probably safe to combine their cds into 1 collection (containing pretty
much EVERYTHING). I'm with him at the record store while they add up his
payback.
The record store geeks are actually pretty impressed with his "extras".

Charger stereo install

I built a bracket install the radio in the charger. its not perfect, but
it'll do for now.

Working with metal is pretty fun. I cut a piece of sheet metal, drilled
holes at the inside corners, cut out a section with a jigsaw, then
folded back the inner edges to give the radio tray something to grab.
And by "folded" I mean clamped it in a vise and pounded the tabs with a
hammer until the layed over flat.

After a little grinding, it fits pretty well, and will probably hold the
radio.

...with my undead phone. 2 days ago my sidekick had a "NET7" error,
which is like the hiptop equvalent of the "blue screen of death", except
its (usually) actual death, rather than a daily ritual... So tmobile is
sending me a replacement... In a few weeks. And they're out of loaners
at all the stores.
So instead of being offline for 3 weeks, I tried some things (mainly
trying to restore the old software) and sort of magically, its working
again. Mostly. But all my data is gone (phone #s, etc. So annoying!).
Oh, and we're at the Springwater Grill, having a drink while we wat for
the sushi line to die down.

Can't buy Sudafed?

Improved scoreboard

Josh and I replaced the guts of the carerra lap counter with the IR
parts I hooked to a laptop a few months back. Its much better aligned
than the straws and tape version.
