	New Table by brian @ 19:55:57 - [perma-link] I put the new slot-car table together tonight in the basement. With the base screwed, glued and bolter tight, its really stable. Even without the plywood and soundboard on top, it barely shakes. And when the sides go on, the top will look much nicer. I still need to do the wiring before I screw down the top; it will be much easier if I can stand up, and have light instead of having tp crawl around under the table. I did a quick test with a layout roughly based on PIR. The table works, you know, as a table. I don't know that the soundboard does anything with thew track just sitting on it.
