	Broken Hard Drive by brian @ 22:36:50 - [perma-link] The drive in my old Powerbook started making a ticking sound a while back. I kept the old one to see if it was recoverable. Last night I tried it in an external usb case. The disk wouldn't spin, and something just clicked. The next logical thing to do was open it up. :) I didn't find the problem, but now I have 2 really strong refridgerator magnets and 4 shiny 2.5" platters.
