Automounting samba shares rocks by brian @ 00:56:56 - [perma-link] I just set up autofs on 2 of my linux xboxes. Now I can set up the others even easier, since all the mount points run dynamically as needed, instead of having to edit fstab on all machines when I change something. This means I can move it all off my desktop computer, and free up a bunch of space. Now everything for the in-house media distribution is in the href=http://freevo.sourceforge.net/>Freevo configuration files. It should also be slightly more tolerant of the other xboxes and computers being off or rebooted.
