Powerbook case mod: Makitosh by brian @ 21:38:53 - [perma-link] A few months ago, Daisy broke my powerbook. Both hinges snapped. I put it back together with duct tape, then kevlar thread, then duct taped it to a "podiumpad" thing. But none of that worked. So this morning, I took a makita cordless drill case (which is way too big for the drill, and wasn't being used anyway) and cut it out to hold the halves of my powerbook. Its a rough hack job, but it works and should last until the next revision.
