Feeding time at the zoo

Felix (right) went to the vet yesterday, and now he's on a special diet.
So all of them are on a special diet.
So as a reward, they got tuna tonight. Oscar (middle) goes ape-shit for
tuna (maybe it reminds him of the ol' wet-food days), and tends to
finish up Elvis's (left) leftovers.

Republicans control the senate

Oh joy.
According to the Portland news, the republicans control the senate with
50 seats, and 2 still up for grabs (and that one pesky independant).
Rather than there being 50 states with 2 senators apiece representing
the best interests of their constituents, its 2 parties fighting for
"control" in order to further their political agendas (plus that one
pesky independant).
I guess two parties is one better than the situation in Iraq. Makes me
proud to be an American.

Back at Hotel Lucia

We're in a "superior" room. I'm not sure if its visible in the picture,
but in the reflection on the bathroom door, you can see... The OTHER
bathroom!
I have some sort of flu, so we're going to just hang out for a while and
take a nap. Maybe we'll go down for Thai food at Typhoon (should have
been "Thai-phoon"). Maybe the spices will clear up my sinuses.

Couch potato

We got a couple of these cat couches to put in the back of the Defender
when we drive the cats up to Oregon. They seem to like lounging on them.

Bright and Shiny

I took my Charger through the car wash today. It looks so much better
when its clean. I can't wait for the rest of the parts to come in so I
can fix the suspension.

Then it will totally kick ass.

Halloween scavenger hunt

So on thursday, I was a geek (as opposed to???) and participated in the
first hiptop scavenger hunt. A bunch of sidekick owners scattered around
the country had to find stuff and take pictures.
This was my entry for "someone in a car trunk". I also managed to get a
picture of a ferret on top of a BeBox. Oh, yeah. Can you feel it?

We're at Randy and Heather's wedding. The pre-event snacks include
strawberries in chocolate tuxedos. How cool is that?
