HDTV kicks ass
by brian @ 22:10:10 - [perma-link]

Hopefully you'll at least be able to discern the 16x9 aspect ration,
because the resolution is just plain lost.

I started watching CSI after seeing it in HDTV. Over broadcast. I never
thought such a thing was possible. The FCC needs to hurry up, cuz this
is just too good to not share.

HDTV is just amazing.

Venice, CA
by brian @ 13:38:06 - [perma-link]

The canals are pretty cool. They're within driving distance (2 blocks)
of Karl's place. I never knew this existed. Now I don't have to go to
Italy. :)

Big cat in Venice
by brian @ 13:42:13 - [perma-link]

This is probably the largest cat I've ever seen (not counting tigers and
that sort). I guess it must eat the ducks.

Karl's place
by brian @ 13:59:41 - [perma-link]

Its very colorful. He didn't know the canals were here when he moved in.
Lisa discovered them when she was walking the dog. Some people are just
lucky, I guess.

What is the Mootrix
by brian @ 17:15:43 - [perma-link]

There are fields where cows are not born; they are grown. I've never
seen the fields. Until now.

First thoughts:
- This is the opposite of free range cattle.
- How many days could these fields supply San Francisco with beef?
- Steak isn't so appealing right now.
- As soon as I finish this cookie, I'll have forgotten all about it.
Things will be right as rain.

Foxy
by brian @ 14:18:36 - [perma-link]

Karl and Lisa brought Foxy back from Mexico with them. I think I
remember her from my trip to Zipolite.

Santa Monica Pier

Rollercoaster, ferris wheel, and a beach. Neat.

Good dinosaurs
by brian @ 17:14:03 - [perma-link]

There are dinosaurs on the 3rd street promenade. They spit water,
presumably to put out the fires spit by the dragons, and other evil
dinosaurs.
