There's a long straightaway leading to the bank turn. Then you come down
to this "roller coaster" area. An elevated figure 8, a hill, and some
tight turns. I'll be posting some real pictures later.

Storage

We need to empty the garage for remodelling, we got two drop-off storage
lockers. We fill them up, then they get picked up and stored until we're
ready for them.

Connie made lunch today. Scrumptious chicken and basil salad sandwich
with veggies. It was goooooooood!

Why Oregon is better than California

We were at the DMV today, registering Connie's bike. They have a
deli-style take-a-nubmber thing and a seating area rather than just an
endless line.
If only we hadn't forgotten to bring the, uh, motorcycle!

Roadkill!

My NASCAR hit a 1/32-scale possum tonight. Yes, we have some ants in the
house. We got it sprayed, so they're on their way out.

One of them strolled across the slot-car track in my basement, and got
hit. (The ant carcass is laying across one of the lines in the center, and
you can kind of see the splat in the tire path).

This should make it a lot quicker to make late night runs to the market.
Instead of having to decide between several bags of chips, when you get
the munchies, get the Munchies.
I think I'll still do it the old fashioned way.

Its one of those car air fresheners. I've seen them in Pine, and such.
Not too sure about this flavor ("Vanilla Pride") and color scheme (stars and stripes).

Daisy and her cow

You can't see her face, because she's thrashing around. All the other
pictures I tried are just a black blur.

She just got back from the vet where she got a shot, and took it very
well. We gave her the cow toy. Its this weird puff ball thing with a cow
head, a couple of arms, and a LOT of, uh, blobs sticking out. Scariest
looking cow ever.

Small dog, big stick

We got a puppy 2 nights ago. Her name is Daisy and she's a Miniature
Pinscher (aka Min Pin). She weighs maybe 5 lbs.

When I took her outside to do her business, she picked up a stick that
was longer than her and about an inch around and carried it across the
yard. Good dog!

Giant Crawfish Attacks Portland

We ate lunch at Jake's. It's a seafood place in downtown. The crawfish
pasta was delicious, as was the fish'n'chips.
