Ha ha. Very funny.

Scratch and lose
by brian @ 19:10:14 - [perma-link]

Scratch off lottery at Safeway: Rock, Paper, Scissors. I guess it beats
being kicked in the balls.

Cats and a Dog

Our 12-week old puppy, Daisy, is sitting on the chair flanked by Oscar
and Felix. I guess they're getting used to each other.

Small plane
by brian @ 09:43:18 - [perma-link]

This is the plane we're flying from Greenville to Cincinatti. 32
passengers. One family brought their own meal onboard, and we can all
smell it. Maybe if we're lucky, we'l leave the plane smelling LIKE it
with so little air to recirculate.

Cool Geek Toy
by brian @ 22:12:32 - [perma-link]

I found this on thinkgeek.com. Its one of those spinning column of LED
things. Its a clock and it shows called id when someone calls. And it
just kinda looks cool.

I set it up in the basement so I can see who is calling when I'm down
there racing slot cars. (which, by the way, will be just a bit more fun
after M-School, which flat out rocks!). I set one of the custom message
slots to "Welcome Race Fans!!!"

Not your cars, not your tars. Use 'em up!
by brian @ 12:56:57 - [perma-link]

The theme for the weekend. Josh managed to melt $1000 worth of tires.
The ones on the other side (not to mention the tires on all 5 other M3s
on the autocross track, the 6 SMG M3s at the figure 8, and the half dozen
M5s (kick ass!) on the wet track) don't have much longer to go.

Its much more fun when its not your car, and not your tires, and there's
no walls to run into.

T.M.T. N.E.T.
by brian @ 15:40:47 - [perma-link]

Another theme. This picture captures some pretty typical tire marks. I
think its a fast, wide turn overlayed with a 360. Both are fine
examples of "Too Much Throttle, Not Enough Talent."

Earlier today I pulled off another TMT NET move when I pulled a 360
over the "finish line" on the water course. Turns out that lap was the
second fastest time of the day! Reminds me of playing Gran Turismo
on Playstation, only this time it was real (and the 360 wasn't entirely
intentional)!

BMW M School
by brian @ 14:21:18 - [perma-link]

I'm at M School. It flat out rules. We drive fast and hard and it smells
like burnt rubber. Tomorrow is more racing.

This is the flag-painted X5 outside the museum. I don't have any
pictures from school, cuz I was too busy driving.

Slot car tables
by brian @ 01:21:48 - [perma-link]

I built some tables to get the slot cars up off the floor. They'll
collect less crap in the wheels, and its more comfortable to sit in a
chair. This is the banks turn on a 3' by 4' table.
