Temporary Wedding Bands
by Connie__ @ 15:27:01 - [perma-link]Brian and I visited Tim at Jackson Square Jewelers in Redwood City on
our last trip to San Francisco. We bought both of our wedding bands
and the setting for my engagement ring from him. Not to mention all
the watches ;)
Brian\'s band was too big and needed to be sized down.
Since his is made of Tungsten they just give him a new ring. It\'s free
the first time, then there is a small fee if it happens again. They
cleaned my band and one of the little diamonds fell off in the sonic
machine. Thank goodness it happened there and not somewhere else. I
left it with them so they could repair it. Since we both felt weird
without our wedding rings (Brian\'s has to be ordered) we had to improvise. I bought Brian this
really cool titanium wedding band with a spinning center with 22 carat
gold decorative screws. It\'s cool as hell. I told him he should
rotate it with his Tungsten band for some variety. I dug up this
sterling silver band in one of my jewelry boxes. We are back in
business. Thank God, we were getting tired of fending off all of the
potential suitors. LOL |

At the Movies
by brian @ 15:41:32 - [perma-link]Connie and I are watching previews before tomb raider. One of them was a commercial for respectcopyright.com. It was some set painter bragging about all the movies he's worked on. Then he says "I don't think the piracy will affect the producers. I mean, not like it will affect me. I'm not a millionaire. I'm just trying to work." Soooo... How much is that guy possibly losing due to piracy? What's his royalties on dvd sales? My guess is he gets payed to paint sets, and then he goes to his next job. This is bullshit. I can't believe they run this kind of crap in the theaters. |

Plane ride home from San Francisco
by Connie__ @ 22:52:44 - [perma-link]These are some pictures I took on the flight home. That's Mt. Shasta...I think. The next one is my sweet baby. The last one is Crater Lake. We have taken this flight way too many times. The guy who drives the shuttle bus from the Economy Parking Lot is getting to know our car. |
