...and the remodel continues...

I know we haven't taken any pictures for a while. When you look at
these you'll see why. For those of you who think you've lived through
a remodel...you have no idea.
I'll describe a couple of areas but not all of them. The room where
Daisy is lying on the bed is where we live. The bathroom is the only
one we can use and it shows. The rest of the house is useless and
covered in an inch of dust. Cleaning is a joke and complete waste of
time.
Don't get me wrong, they are doing a great job. But we should have
moved ourselves and all of our stuff out.

Progress

The new soil is going in. 2 big trucks are blowing it out everywhere.
Its much nicer than that "dirt and leaves" look we've had for a while.
Next week is irrigation, then plants and grass. Woohoo!

Having some wine

I went to see Matrix:Revolutions while Connie shopped. Its a conclusion
to the series, and wraps everything up, neatly or not. Nothing
revolutionary about it, but it didn't suck.
Connie was waiting for me outside with Daisy. We walked back towards the
hotel (another 2 nights out of our hell-home), and stopped off at the
wine bar for a bit. There's free wine at the hotel in a few minutes, so
we'll head back there shortly.
Connie picked up Daisy from doggy-daycare while I was in the movie.
She's sleeping under Connie's coat right now (that's her in the purple
sweater). She spent yesterday, the night, and most of today at the
Howliday Inn, so she's pretty tired. Yay!

Elvis meets Tony Hawk

I'm playing Tony Hawk Underground. Its the new playstation skateboarder.
This time there's a storyline: you're a cool "underground" skateboarder
trying to find a sponsor so you can sell out.
Elvis sat down right in front of the screen and is swatting at stuff as

I decided not to keep my hair natural (Big Surprise). Here it is after
my second bleach job. I've decided to keep it blond and grow it out

We've been waiting for this train to go by forever. It just stopped.
Seriously. Only for a minute or so, but still.
Its ridiculously long and moving very slow. I really hope it ends soon.

Decorated just in time, and with the Killer Bee on guard, we're ready
for Halloween. Our neighbors said there have been hundreds of
trick-or-treaters in the past, but so far we don't believe them. Right
now, the count is 2.
