Driving in the Bay Area
by brian @ 10:47:48 - [perma-link]

People always ask why we moved to Portland. This picture shows one
reason. Its from like 8pm last night. I mean, sure that's on the tail
end of "rush hour" (which lasts from about 2pm until 9 or 10), but come
on...

"I've never seen any that cherry before"
by brian @ 11:04:31 - [perma-link]

That's a quote from Connie. Cherry and Black Cherry (ok, that was bad)
T-Birds.

We stopped at A&W for breakfast (burgers, fries, and rootbeer). Looks
like a car club holds their meetings here. Seriously. There's a long
table, and their having a meeting.

And they looked at me funny when I snapped this pic.

Guess where I am!
by brian @ 16:45:48 - [perma-link]

I was in palo alto with some time to kill, so I stopped in at danger to
see if they can make my phone, you know, ring.

But alas, an update is months away.

Rocky
by brian @ 18:26:14 - [perma-link]

We're having dinner with Connie's aunt Mary and uncle John. They have 2
cats, Rocky and Oreo. Rocky is BIG. 20lbs big. Not fat. Built to be big.

Washer and Dryer of Rule!
by brian @ 21:55:48 - [perma-link]

Its like living in a real house! We now have a refrigerator with food in
it (!), and a washer and dryer. A totally kigass washer and dryer!

They're black, front loading, and work great! Its nice having clean
clothes.

High water
by brian @ 11:16:21 - [perma-link]

Crescent City, and the Metro-Crescent City Area, has gotten a lot of
rain. The rivers are fast and high.

Connie and I spent Christmas at her sister's. We've spent more time in
their house than ours, since we moved. But now we're heading back home.
And we're in the Defender, so NOTHING will stop us this time.

Welcome to Roseburg
by brian @ 13:24:02 - [perma-link]

They don't have a "card machine" here yet. And the sign saying "gas" at
the exit (3 miles back, with no re-entrance ramp) was quite misleading.
Reminds me of one of those "how much u got?" sort of places.

Maybe we should have bought a squirrel.

Showing Mara the Sidekick
by brian @ 21:59:57 - [perma-link]

This is mainly for bonus geekiness while I show my phone to someone.

Mara is a friend of mine who lives in Portland, so now I'll be seeing
more of her. Anyway, gotta get back to the demo.

Its not bad, but if chris thinks its the best he's on crack!

Santa Cat
by brian @ 21:51:46 - [perma-link]

One of connie's sister's cats was feeling festive.
