Chilling at Pottery Barn
by brian @ 14:14:43 - [perma-link]

I haven't sung the praises of the Sidekick in a while.

Connie had some returns, and found a bunch of new stuff. So I am sitting
in one of the store's comfy chairs, reading slashdot, cheking my email
and chatting on AIM. The end of shopping boredom. Hooray!

Momo is better
by brian @ 01:07:14 - [perma-link]

I bought a new steering wheel for my playstation 2. The Logitech Momo
Force. Its red, has a leather steering wheel, and metal pedals and
shifters. Its made for PCs, not PS2, so it doesn't have the D-pad or all
of the PS2 buttons, but the steering works, the force feedback works,
and the red button is the e-brake, so its good enough.

Now I can race people with wheels instead of the controllers.

Red Robin
by brian @ 13:03:21 - [perma-link]

This is starting to lookl like "Brian's Burger Guide."

We're at Red Robin in Medford. They have a burger topped with a fried
egg and bacon. Too bad I already had breakfast.

Heading back home soon, with a stop at Fry's. I don't think we'll make
it back as quick as we made it down.

In-n-Out Burger is Sill the Best
by brian @ 13:43:50 - [perma-link]

Burgerville is a "local" fast food chain in Oregon. They use local beef,
veggies, etc (or so I'm told). We ate lunch there today.

I was expecting something like In-n-Out, so I was quite disappointed.
Burgerville was a little better than, say, Burger King, but (ironically,
I suppose) nothing to write home about.

Tomb Raider
by brian @ 20:53:56 - [perma-link]

We watched Tomb Raider tonight. (tha'ts the dvd menu in the pic). We had
the volume cranked up. It sounded SO good! We're going to have to do
that more ofter.

My old Toshiba Libretto is about the right size for Elvis. He's running
FreeBSD with WindowMaker.

House Mod
by brian @ 12:51:28 - [perma-link]

The windows on the backside of the house had this wooden grid thing
attached to make them look like old, or something. We took them off to
make a much more open look.

Its so nice seeing the backyard without that "prison" look.

Man, business-people are so lame!
by brian @ 14:54:57 - [perma-link]

This guy has been on his phone nonstop for over an hour! Really
important stuff, or at least I assume so by how loudly he is talking. I
sure hope his company can survive without him for the hour and a half
duration of this flight!
